Announcing Our Virtual Showcase
Join us October 1 and 2 for a virtual showcase
Our first-ever virtual showcase will feature four screening blocks and six films that focus on current events, women in the service, and treatment of Black service members post World War II. This lineup includes festival fan favorites, past award winners, and some films that will make their GIFFSD debut. Post-screening discussions are expected, allowing you to hear from filmmakers, subjects and local experts as they explore the important topics and issues raised in the films. From World War II to the Vietnam War to current events, the films selected have something for everyone. Best of all, you can enjoy the showcase from the safety of your home — masks optional! The films and discussions will take place right here on the GIFFSD website.
Tickets will be available September 18 for $10 each.
