Description
A young man in search of a camera stumbles upon a memory from the past and is given a glimpse of history. When presented with the chance to learn about a camera that still brings fond memories to the owners mind, he chooses to seek out the action and adventure of war, only to come face to face with the intense reality.
This film was one of the first directed and shot by Ryan Kelly. It holds a special place as it was only possible due to the graciousness of friends and family. None of the actors , crew or musicians were professionals. The “actors” included a lawyer, a professional poker player, a Navy EOD diver, a fireman, a financial manager and a process server. No film school, no budget and no limits to our creativity.
The submarine portion of the film was done on location at the USS DOLPHIN which is part of the San Diego Maritime Museum.
This film received the Local Film Showcase Best Narrative Short award.
