About the Filmmaker

Sean Patrick Higgins – raised the 3rd of 4 gypsy Irish-American children by a mother who battles Multiple Sclerosis and Bipolar, and a father who was a decorated member of the Green Berets in Vietnam. Higgins’ family is war-torn, his folks divorcing when he was 6. Fast-forward through a messy situation leading to his father’s incarceration of 6 years, to homelessness with his mother, to becoming a 3-sport varsity athlete (and football captain), to top graduate of University of Wyoming, to Oxford, to Yale, to care-taker, to the NYC stage – Higgins’ journey these 30 years has been unique to say the least.
