How to Fest

Festival attendees can enjoy seeing the films in the 2022 lineup in person or with a video on demand (VOD) rental.  The online box office will open in early April where tickets and VOD rentals can be purchased. All in-person screenings will take place at the Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park. Admission for most in-person screening events is $10 or $8 for military, veterans, and KPBS members.  Attendees will be asked to observe and follow COVID-19 policies.

VOD rentals will be available for each film or film block for $10 each. The option to rent a film(s) will be available in early April.  VOD films will be available for viewing at noon following the film’s debut in the festival. If you are interested in a VOD rental, go to the specific film page and selected “Rent” for VOD rentals.
