The Hurt Locker

After their previous sergeant is killed in an explosion, an army bomb squad is assigned a new leader. Tensions rise and personalities clash as the squad learns of Sergeant James’ maverick attitude. Inspired by writer Mark Boal’s time as a journalist in the Iraq War, “The Hurt Locker” won six Academy Awards in 2010, including the award for best motion picture of the year.  on Prime Video.


This feature-length documentary is set in Restrepo, a 15-man outpost in Afghanistan’s Korengal Valley and one of the most dangerous postings in the U.S. military. What sets “Restrepo” apart from other documentaries is its sole focus on the lives and experiences of the soldiers deployed there.  on iTunes.
