Special announcement! GIFF is hitting the road.

This year marks the 10 year milestone for the GI Film Festival San Diego and we’re proud to continue sharing impactful films, thoughtful discussion and meaningful connections for you. To celebrate this milestone, we’re excited to announce a return to D.C. for two nights only, November 4 and 5.  

We’ve opened up our vaults from the last 10 years to curate a special lineup of some of the festival’s most memorable and impactful films. The Best of Fest lineup includes 13 titles presented over five showtimes and two nights. All film screenings will take place at the NCTA headquarters near Union Station.

Filmmakers from across the U.S. are expected to attend, along with film subjects, local experts, and veterans. Each showtime will be followed by a post-screening discussion, giving you a chance to hear their inspiring stories and personal experiences. 

Tickets are free and required for all showtimes. Tickets will be available through the online box office in September.  

This special two-day showcase is made possible by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and is organized by KPBS, San Diego’s NPR and PBS station.
