Join the GI Film Festival San Diego and the USS Midway Museum for an exclusive screening of MIDWAY. This 2019 film centers on the Battle of the Midway, a clash between the American fleet and the Imperial Japanese Navy which marked a pivotal turning point in the Pacific Theater during WWII. The film, based on real-life events of this heroic feat, tells the story of the leaders and soldiers who used their instincts, fortitude and bravery to overcome the odds. This film is rated PG-13.
This screening will take place in the Hangar Bay of the USS Midway Museum. Come early and explore the museum’s Battle of the Midway Exhibit including three WWII era aircraft: the F4F Wildcat, SBD Dauntless, and the TBD Devastator replica (used in the Midway film!). Hear from the museum’s historian Karl Zingheim, visit the GIFFSD booth, and grab a bite from the concession stand.

This event is FREE but a ticket is required for admission. All ages require a ticket. Attendees are subject to a bag inspection before boarding. Seating is first come, first served.
