Director's Bio
As a child, Michael told his parents that he wanted to make movies. He dreamt of bringing his imagination to life just like the films he loved did. They inspired him to reach for the stars and eventually, learn filmmaking too. In middle school, Michael started to videotape friends and family in short skits. Since he didn’t have a lavish post-production studio, he taught himself the process of editing footage and incorporating visual effects on an old computer. He continued to make short films into high school until he decided to serve his country and join the Marine Corps. Due to his military schedule and pursuing higher education, he was unable to pursue filmmaking like he dreamed of doing. When he left the service, he decided it was now or never. He dove in. When “The Force Awakens” was released, he embarked on a mission to make a Star Wars fan film. Utilizing his military experience, Michael recruited a team of talented cast and crew members and led them to make something that seemed impossible. Michael is currently in work on an epic sequel to “The Dark Resurgence”.
